2021 Silver Scroll Award Top 20 List Announced

APRA have announced the top 20 songs in line to claim the 2021 Silver Scroll Award and the 2021 Maioha Award top 5 shortlist.

The relatively shortlist was chosen from over 250 entries by a judging panel of 10 songwriters who’ve made their own significant contributions to the NZ music community. The 2021 APRA Maioha Award Top 5 shortlist was also announced simultaneously – details below.

The judging panel were (alphabetically): Anji Sami, Finn Andrews, Hollie Fullbrook, Marika Hodgson, Natalia Sheppard, Phil Bell, Sarena Close, Sean Donnelly, Tom Scott and Tyna Keelan.

Also announced was the 2021 APRA Maioha Award Top 5 shortlist, chosen from over 30 entries by a judging panel of four (in alphabetical order): Matai Smith, Nadia Marsh, Ngatapa Black and Pere Wihongi.

The 2021 APRA Silver Scroll Awards ceremony will be taking place at Spark Arena in Tāmaki Makaurau on October 14.
