NZ On Air Music‘s New Music Single December 2020 Funding round is the last funding result for 2020. 

As a result of the additional investment from the Government this May, NZOA was able to fund almost twice as many singles per round compared to previous years, supporting a wide range of artists and contemporary popular music genres.

42 songs will receive up to $10,000 each towards the cost of making and promoting their single release. The panel also noted the challenging assessment they faced upon 162 applications with many strong songs.

The December 2020 panel was made up of Lui Vilisoni (Pacific Media Network), Sarah Thomson (95bFM), Matt Ealand (Rockquest Promotions), Pennie Black (Native Tongue) and Jeff Newton (NZ On Air).
