2022 Jazz & Children’s Music Awards Open For Nominations

Recorded Music NZ and APRA have announced that the 2022 jazz & children’s music awards are open for nominations.

Entries for Te Kaipuoro Waiata Tamariki Toa | Best Children’s Music Artist, and Te Kaipuoro Tautito Toa | Best Jazz Artist were quietly opened by Recorded Music NZ in mid-February.

APRA also announced around the same time that entries are open for the Best Country Music Song Award, Best Jazz Composition Award, Best Children’s Song Award, and NZ On Air Best Children’s Music Video.

The deadline is this Friday, March 4, 2022! Your song is eligible if it was released to the public during the 2021 calendar year.

RMNZ has also announced that the Best Country Artist Tūī will no longer be presented as part of the Gold Guitar Awards in Gore. Instead, it will move to the Aotearoa Music Awards main ceremony, with 2022 entries opening in June.
