According to organisers Independent Music NZ, the 2022 Taite Music Prize award presentation ceremony has been postponed to May 29 to close out NZ Music Month on a high with an in-person award ceremony.  

Thanks to the recent change from red to orange Covid settings, the opportunity for the event to be held in person has been received with delight. The ceremony will once again take place at Tāmaki Makaurau’s Q Theatre and will be live-blogged across multiple platforms for people to watch at home.
