This contestable funding opportunity supports the recording and promotion of reo Māori multi-song projects. Priority is given to projects that contain waiata containing more than half Te Reo Māori; that are original and have not been released before; and appeal to rangatahi and pakeke (13-45 years) audiences.
Musicians and producers with a proven track record and audience base are invited to apply with Te Māngai Pāho prepared to allocate up to $40,000 to a single project. Applications close Friday, April 23.
