The songwriters, producers, and mātanga reo participating in Reo Māori Songhubs 2022 have been announced, with the vent scheduled to officially kick off on September 26.

Four studios in Auckland’s Roundhead Studios will be occupied by two songwriters, a producer and mātanga reo/Māori language consultant, who will assist with translation. 

The songwriters involved are Anna Coddington, Mohi, Yahyah, Te Kura O Te Marama Dewes, Hina, Reti Hedley, Kawiti Waetford and Jordyn With A Why. The four producers taking part are Dan Martin, Choicevaughan, Nic Manders and Noema Te Hau III. 

Curated by APRA Board Writer Representative Bic Runga and Sir Tīmoti Kāretu, the grouping will be shuffled each day giving every participant a chance to be the lead writer.
