Artists are now invited to enter the 2023 MLT Songwriting Awards.

The awards will be presented during the Country Music Honours gala evening (formerly known as the NZ Country Music Awards) to be held on June 1 as part of Tussock Country Festival in Gore.

Songwriter artists can submit their previously unreleased tracks, recorded as a solo vocal performance with the exception of songs written and arranged as a duet. Songs can be accompanied by a maximum of one instrument only and will be assessed on content, lyrics, melody, musical movement and structure.
