The NZ Music Commission’s Outward Sound programme has opened applications for WOMEX 2023 delegate grants.

WOMEX is the World Music Expo with a focus on contemporary music in the world, roots, reggae, dub, contemporary soul and traditional forms. The annual five-day event comprises a trade fair, showcase festival, conference, and film programme, as well as opening and award ceremonies.

This year WOMEX will be held in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain from Wednesday October 25 – 29. Outward Sound offers successful WOMEX applicants 50% recoupable support up to $3,000.
