Applications are open online for To The Front Pōneke 2021. 

Previously called Girls Rock! Pōneke, To The Front Pōneke is a week-long workshop that aims to empower young women, intersex, transgender and gender non-conforming youth aged 12 to 17, through music. 

Participants will learn instruments, form bands, and write songs to be performed at a final showcase all while being guided by professional musicians. This year’s event will take place at Wellington High School and Massey University’s creative campus.
