A Raging Case Of Grammy Fever!

Between Australia and NZ, APRA reports, there are 26 artists in the running for a 2018 Grammy, be it in the limelight or behind the scenes.

At the forefront, and directly up for the big Album Of The Year award is Lorde with her ‘Melodrama’ – competing against the likes of Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino.  

Opetaia Foa’i is up for Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media with the blockbuster soundtrack to Disney’s Moana.

As part of the Australian Hillsong church band Brooke Ligertwood (you know her as Brooke Fraser) co-wrote What A Beautiful Name which is in the running for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance Song.

Hardworking producer Joel Little has his finger in three prize pies this year, for his work with Lorde, Imagine Dragons and Khalid. 

Drummer Ben Anderson will also be at the Awards with his Texas-based alt-metal band Nothing More who are up for Best Rock Album.

Aand Aaradhna featured of J Boog’s album ‘Wash House’ which is nominated for Best Reggae Album.

Good going those Kiwis! The ceremony will take place on January 28 in New York City.
