There are a couple of spots still open for NZM and SAE Auckland‘s upcoming 20 Bands In Two Hours NZ Music Month special gig on Friday May 18 at Galatos in Auckland. So we were are wondering… if you might be keen to play?

We’re looking for good artists/bands, with a sense of humour, keen to bang out their one best tune as part of the crazy mayhem of the event – under admittedly tight set-up conditions – for the joy of a room full of happy ears.

Any genre goes, but your set up has to be simple enough to pack in and out very quickly. In the past this event has had entire choirs, soloists with a backing track, full rock bands, jazz improv trios, musical spoken word, beatboxing, brass, looping…  we’re pretty open as long as it fits into the idea of the night celebrating GREAT original local music.
