Parachute Music are on the look out for six up-and-coming artists who are wanting to take their music careers to the next level in 2020. 

Each year Parachute Music holds auditions to find candidates suitable for their year-long artist development programme. Aiming to kickstart careers in the music industry through offering the opportunity to learn from seasoned industry professionals, the programme equips young NZ artists with the skills to make an impact on the world stage. Successful artists who’ve already benefited from the programme include Daily J, Emily Muli, and Britt Rion.

The Parachute Music Artist Development programme includes:

• Individual tutoring
• Co-writes and sessions with industry professionals
• Recording
• Protools, Ableton and Logic workshops
• Music industry overview
• Full use of a project recording studio
• Styling, branding and marketing
• Performance and song-sharing workshops

Artists looking to apply must be between 18-25 years of age, NZ residents and able to commit 20 hours a week.
