NZ On Air Music have announced the outcomes for their February 2022 New Music Single funding round.

In the first completed music funding round of the year, 41 acts out of 203 applications will receive up to $10,000 towards recording and promoting their single and/or music video.

The final list was selected on the basis of the strong potential of the songs to reach a variety of local audiences via broadcast and online media and looks to be a particularly fresh mix full of up-and-coming artists from across Aotearoa. Congratulations to all recipients!

The panel was made up of Marty Hehewerth (The Edge), Dave Borrie (Radio One), Annabel Kean (Sports Team/Under The Radar), Sarah Owen (Recorded Music NZ), Gareth Shute (Audioculture), Lee Prebble (The Surgery) and Jeff Newton (NZ On Air).
