Nominations are now open for the Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi Springboard 2022 programme, which aims to kickstart arts careers for up to eight artists in Aotearoa every year.

2022 marks the third year of the programme which sees recipients gifted $15,000, alongside a partnership with a senior artist mentor from the alumni of Arts Foundation associates.

The selection process focuses on awarding creatives with outstanding potential who want to start careers in a variety of arts disciplines. A financial, mentoring and resource support system will be designed to have a significant impact on their growth and development as artists, helping them to start a career.

The Arts Foundation is also offering a new Springboard Award dedicated to a Ngāi Tahu kaihautoi (upcoming artists). This is the first year of a new partnership supported by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu.
