The Amped Music Project is a Dunedin-based mentorship programme for young musicians. Over seven weeks, Amped 2018 aims to prepare local high school students for a musical career, led this year by local songwriter Nadia Reid.
Concluding in September with Ampathon, the programme showcase, participants will attend workshops and be involved in organising gigs.
Students thinking of applying should have some experience playing live. They also need to be able to commit to attending Saturday workshops held from 11am-3pm in the CBD, and be confident to perform live at least twice.
