Nominations Are Open For The 2023 Best Folk Artist Award
Nominations are open for the 2023 Best Folk Artist Award, the AMA Tūi award.
Entry for Te Kaipuoro Taketake Toa | Best Folk Artist 2023 is open to Kiwi folk artists with recordings released between 1 October 2021 and 30 September 2022. Entries must be submitted online and received by Recorded Music NZ before November 7.

The award will be announced and presented on the Sunday evening of the 2023 Auckland Folk Festival, being held in Kumeu on Auckland Anniversary Weekend, the last weekend in January 2023.
Voting for the 2022 People’s Choice Award | Te Kōwhiri o Te Nuinga is also now open. All those artists confirmed as 2022 AMA finalists are eligible for this award, with the winner solely determined by public vote. Voting will close on November 4, with the winner announced on Thursday 10 November.
