Arc Of Ascent: Realms Of The Metaphysical

Arc Of Ascent are essentially making the soundtrack to the Ascended Masters. Now onto their third release, it’s been a bit of a wait for their faithful followers.

Things began in 2010 with ‘Circle Of The Sun’, followed by my personal favourite, 2012’s ‘The Higher Key’.

People talk about music being transcendent, but that is often in the subjective. With Arc Of Ascent, you are guaranteed this experience.

It’s deep, mystical, transforming, but not at all in an esoteric, snobby way.

Some might put this in the doom/stoner metal categories, but psychedelic is more applicable, there’s plenty going on.

Arc Of Ascent is the vision of Craig Williamson, who is accompanied on this release by Matt Cole-Baker and Mark McGeady.

Recorded at Bagnall Hill, Te Pahu and Cosmic Light Studios in Hamilton late last year, this builds on previous Arc chapters and leaves an indelible mark on the cosmos.
