Applications are now open for To The Front Pōneke 2023 in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

Held from July 4-7 at Massey University the 4-day school holiday programme is open to youth aged 12-17 years who are women, intersex, trans, takatāpui and gender diverse.

To The Front is a programme where participants learn instruments, form bands, write original songs, and perform at a showcase, all guided by professional musicians in a women-led environment. 2023 sees the introduction of a new electronic stream, where participants have the opportunity to gain experience with digital music production. Each day they’ll enjoy lunchtime performances from local artists.
