The 2022 Amped Music Project in Dunedin is calling for young bands, performers and musicians in the city to apply for their annual series of workshops and all-ages gigs, aimed at sharing an insight into how the music business works.

Amped is Ōtepoti Dunedin’s own free music mentoring programme for high school-age people. The diverse musical background of 2022 Amped co-ordinater Craig Monk (Cloudboy, Mink), including experience as a musician, music producer and arts manager is set to bring a unique perspective to this year’s round of tutoring, performing, and music creating.

Amped Music Project 2022 runs over four weekends in August and early September. The application deadline is August 3. Find out more here.
