Community music initiative Holding Space Aotearoa are taking submissions of interest to be a part of their next recording session at Roundhead Studios for their next community compilation album for the Songwriters 4 Climate Action project.

They’re looking for 12 Tāmaki Makaurau-based artists to contribute an original song or spoken word / poetry piece to be a part of ‘SW4CA Vol.2’. Recording dates are October 7-9. Submissions close September 15.

Got something original with an environmental or climate conscious theme that could suit? What to help be a part of a movement of change? They’d love to get a range of perspectives.

Successful applicants will need to attend at least one of the Auckland Climate Festival events on September 10, 17 or 28 in central Auckland, or a 1 on 1 session with one member of the team.
