NewMusic Single September 2023 Funding Decisions
NZ On Air Music have released their NewMusic Single September 2023 funding decisions.
35 songs out of 231 eligible applications will receive up to $10,000, supporting recording, video and promotion costs. There are eight first-time recipients, and six artists who have previously benefitted from NZ On Air’s NewMusic Development scheme.
The judging panel included Casey Sullivan (The Edge), Harri Robinson (RadioActive.FM), J9 Russell, Sarah Illingworth (Recorded Music NZ), Sam Harman (Laneway Festival), So’omālō Iteni Schwalger (Tahi) and Jeff Newton (NZ On Air Music)
