Young people trying to break into the music industry are invited to apply for the Music Commission‘s Music Industry Internship Programme November 2021 intake.
The programme is an initiative created to help emerging music professionals and recent tertiary graduates gain experience and kick-start their careers in the music sector. This time around the Internship Programme is being split into two intakes to accommodate areas of the business that get particularly busy during summer, for example, music festivals.
Depending on the host organisation, the placement period will be around 16 weeks part-time, or 10 weeks full-time. Some flexibility may be possible to accommodate an Intern’s weekly schedules (e.g. for part-time study, or a second job).
Applications for the November intake will close on October 20, and you can apply here.
