The NZ Music Commission is partnering with Folk Alliance International to present a virtual NZ Showcase 2022

Four artists/bands will each get 14 minutes to perform a live pre-recorded presentation. NZMC will provide each act with financial support to create their content.

Interested applicants can apply through the linked form. The final NZ lineup will be selected by Folk Alliance. Applications close November 22.

Staged in Kansas each February, the Folk Alliance International Conference is the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community, crossing a diverse array of genres. 

The 2022 Folk Alliance International Conference will be a hybrid event, with an in-person portion being held in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, over February 23-27. The online International Spotlight Showcases will take place a week prior to the in-person event, and will see live performances from around the globe.
