Expressions of Interest for TSB Festival of Lights

Expressions of interest for New Plymouth’s TSB Festival of Lights (running over December 2026 – January 2027) entertainment programme are open.

Set in the deep green surrounds of Pukekura Park, the TSB Festival of Lights fuses arts, community and nature for five weeks of glowing summer evenings in the heart of Taranaki. Organisers, the New Plymouth District Council, are seeking a diverse range of performers including live music, roaming acts, children’s and seniors’ entertainment, and any other creative ideas you think they should consider.

Free to the public, the TSB Festival of Lights is the country’s favourite, and longest-running light festival. While the lights are the star attraction, the entertainment programme is what brings the park to life – showcasing musicians of all genres and creating unforgettable summer nights in Taranaki. Availability is necessary during the festival dates: 19 December 2026 – 23 January 2027.

Artists and entertainers will find the relevant EoI form right here. Applications close Friday 10 July, 2026.
