The Dame Malvina Major Foundation is calling for youthful organists to apply for the 2025 Maxwell Fernie Dame Malvina Major Foundation Award. Applications will close on Friday 15 August 2025.

This annual award supports young New Zealand keyboard artists to further their education or training in the organ. It honours the legacy of the late Maxwell Fernie – acclaimed organist, conductor, teacher, and a significant figure in New Zealand’s musical life.
