Auckland City Of Music is a finalist in two out of 10 categories for the Music Cities Awards 2021.
The awards acknowledge and reward the most outstanding applications of music for economic, social and cultural development in cities and places everywhere. They aim to demonstrate the value of music to the world.
Director Mark Roach is a finalist for the Public Service Award For A Leading Music Cities Advocate, while the other category for Auckland City of Music is Best Global Music Office. The award ceremony will be taking place virtually on November 9 and will feature a 25-minute panel discussion for each award, with the live winner announcement at the end of the talk.
