Tasmanian folk duo Where Water Meets are on tour in Aotearoa for the first time. Twizel-born Emily Sheppard (violin/viola/vocals) and Yyan Ng (guitar/vocals) bring with them music from their critically acclaimed first album ‘River Islands’, with songs and tunes inspired by the Tasmanian wilderness.

Combining alternatively tuned guitars, violins and violas with ethereal vocals to create shimmering, visual worlds both earthly and interstellar, their music has been described as an ‘intricate, complex, but warm-hug kind of experience.’
