Roady For Roadies 2022 is a family-friendly fundraising walk to support live music road crews that will take place in Auckland on April 29. 

Covid has knocked out a lot of gigs and festivals, in turn impacting the livelihoods and families of people who rely on those events for their income. 

Supporters will trek Auckland’s 16km Coast to Coast walk from Onehunga to downtown Auckland with the finish line being The Tuning Fork at Spark Arena. (A shorter 5km walk is also available for those who aren’t sure they want to commit to 16km.)

Signups cost $35 up to $100, with all proceeds being administered by charity MusicHelps to support road crews who might be going through rough times, with no union support.

Tickets will go on sale on March 21.
