Being is a guitar pop band leaning towards the surfy side of things. Their music jumps from fun pop to introspective spoken word but is always tied together with a punchy performance and consistent writing.

Fronted by Jasmine Balmer, they have a ‘play every show possible’ attitude, no matter how many band members are available. They rehearse before shows in bassist Joshua Worthington-Church‘s home, a converted office block on Auckland’s Beach Road, where Joel Thomas visited them for Music Spaces.
