Wellington-born Dylan Lardelli is the only Kiwi of a group of nine composers to receive an Art Music Fund grant for 2017.

More than $110, 000 was awarded to the musicians, and their works will also be a part of a programme that will see Lardelli’s new work for Musikfabrik performed in Germany, Japan and New Zealand.

The Art Music Fund was initiated by APRA AMCOS to provide more opportunities for art music composers to have their works performed. It allows innovative, professional compositions to receive commission for performance, broadcast and recording.
