SOLE Music Academy Add Online Learning Option for 2026

Christchurch’s SOLE Music Academy has announced a new Hybrid Online Learning Option is being made available for their 2026 Artist Development Programme, commencing 26 January 2026, enhanced with the opportunity of an Emerging Artist Scholarship to attend.

Designed for young creatives aged 17 years and up, SOLE’s Artist Development Programme supports talented singers, songwriters, producers, and bands ready to kickstart their music careers. Led by platinum award-winning neo-soul artist Sacha Vee, the programme has seen more than 15 students relocate to Ōtautahi over the past three years to train towards a future career in music.

Responding to growing demand, SOLE is introducing the new Hybrid Online Learning Option for 2026, giving out-of-Ōtautahi talent from across Aotearoa access to the programme – without needing to relocate – alongside the Emerging Artist Scholarship to further support rising talent.

The scholarship is awarded to individuals who demonstrate exceptional skill, passion, and potential in the music industry. By providing financial support, the scholarship aims to cultivate the next generation of artists, helping them achieve their creative goals and develop a sustainable career in the arts. This scholarship will be awarded to a budding artist who is accepted into the Artist Development programme, and will go toward the cost of the programme.

Limited spaces available, with applications closing 28 November, 2025.
