The RDU RoundUp 2016 concluded this weekend, with rock band Smokin’ Voodoo coming first at the Christchurch indie radio station’s yearly band competition.

“This year has bought some of the highest quality of bands that we’ve seen compete in years”, says RDUnited manager Will Applebe.

Smokin’ Voodoo convinced the judges at the Grand Final which took place at the local venue The Darkroom, beating synth enthusiasts Idris, previous finalist, punk band Dead Rats, rock act St Peter’s Thursday, and duo Emily & Georgie.
