NZ On Air Music have released the results of they Making Tracks May 2016 funding round.
Panelists Barnaby Weir, David Stevens of Radio Control in Palmerston North, NZOA’s own Jeff Newton, Jeremy Taylor of Radio NZ and Slowboat Records in Wellington, publicist Julie Warmington, NZME’s Sarah Gandy and Shahlin Graves of Coup de Main picked 23 projects out of 128 applications, listed in the table below.
There is just one more Making Tracks round in the 2015/16 funding year and the deadline is June 1. You can apply here.
After that, there will be some changes to the way NZOA funds music coming from 1 July. Look out for more information on the changes here and in the next print issue of NZ Musician – we’ll let you know all the details.
