The goal of the Music Commission’s Industry Internship Programme is to grow the knowledge, networks and career potential of emerging music professionals. The internship roles are generally suited to recent graduates, or people wanting to kick start a career in the music industry. The expansion of this programme is part of the Ministry for Culture and Heritage Manatū Taonga Arts and Culture COVID Recovery Programme, to support initiatives that build skills and knowledge, and provide access to advice, services, tools and resources.
