The organisers of Pōneke‘s 2022 CubaDupa festival are currently accepting artist applications and expressions of interest for the event being held in March 2022. The deadline is August 15, with decisions to be made by the end of September.

What you need to know:

• CubaDupa will be held on March 26 / 27, 2022.
• CubaDupa is looking for wildly creative acts and is particularly interested in street theatre and roving performances.
• They won’t programme the same musical acts two years in a row unless you have a new concept.
• They encourage new commissions, shows and projects that performers have curated or put together especially for CubaDupa.
• They’re looking for mass participation projects involving multiple artists and/or audience participation
• You’ll need good quality support material such as live footage on youtube and to include these links in the application
