Four NZ songwriters have been acknowledged for their musical works at the 2021 BMI Pop Awards.

The annual BMI Pop Awards celebrate the songwriters, music publishers and administrators behind the 50 most-performed songs of the past year. Their songs received the most performances on terrestrial radio, satellite radio and digital streaming services.

South Auckland producer Jawsh 685 received an award for his work on the Jason Derulo track Savage Love, Benee and Josh Fountain for Benee’s hit Supalonely and Joel Little for the Taylor Swift single The Man.
