The 2018 Artisan Awards took place in Wellington on Guy Fawkes night, November 5, with five new NZ Music Awards’ Tuis given out for sound engineering and production, artwork design, music video direction and music teaching. 

Held at Massey University, the celebrations were MCed by Wellington Paranormal officers Karen O’Leary and Mike Minogue, who remarkably stayed in their bone-dry on-screen characters for the whole night, with live music provided by the Adults.

It’s been a phenomenal year for sound engineer, producer and musician Simon Gooding, who claimed two of the three awards he was a finalist for.
