On Friday, February 16, it was all about the blues at Music In Parks, with Midge Marsden headlining the stage at Auckland’s Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve, supported by the Flaming Mudcats and White Chapel Jak.
Says photographer Trevor Villers, “I haven’t seen him [Midge] in such fine form in years. Effervescent he was, positively bubbling over. The pics don’t lie.”
Trevor was particularly impressed with White Chapel Jak. “Their irrepressible front person, Bonnie Hurunui had the crowd totally at her beck and call within probably 3 songs.”
