Applications for CubaDupa 2027, taking place in Pōneke on 20 & 21 March 2027, are now open. 

CubaDupa organisers are calling for Expressions of Interest with bold, original work across music, theatre, visual arts, dance, movement, and installation. Applications close on 7 August, with applicants to be notified by 23 October.

The focus for 2027 is for:
• Wellington-based artists in their first decade of practice developing new work
• Visual art proposals for installations, decor, or video works
• Theatre works ready to be developed for the street
• Artists performing in te reo Māori

There are three options for applying:
• Performance Application — for performers and acts
• Special Project Proposal — for bigger ideas that need the right platform
• Visual Arts, Decor & Installation Proposal — for installations, decor, and video works
