Results of the NZ On Air September New Music Single funding round have been announced with up to $11,000 made available for 29 songs by local artists to be released in the coming months. This funding supports recording, video and promotion costs.

Judges for the round were: Abeiku Eshun (George FM); Fi Carr (Radio One); Leanda Borrett (NZ On Screen); Martyn Pepperell (freelance journalist); Noema Te Hau III (producer/songwriter); Sarah Owen (Māori Music Industry Collective); Jeff Newton (NZ On Air)
