NZ On Air have announced results of the 10th New Music Pasifika focus round for single-based funding, designed to support the recording, video and promotion costs of new songs from Pasifika artists.

The April 2025 New Music Pasifika round received 77 eligible applications, resulting in up to $11,000 being allocated to 20 songs from the artists listed below to be released in the coming months. Of those, nine are first-time NZ On Air funding recipients, with several of the songs featuring Pasifika languages. 

The judging panel members were: David Atai – Crescendo Trust;
Petrina Togi-Sa’ena – Pacific Music Awards Trust; So’omālō Iteni Schwalger – TAHI FM; Susana Guttenbeil – Pacific Media Network
and Nicole Rex – NZ On Air.
