Entries are now open for the 2017 Country Music Awards, which includes the APRA Best Country Music Song, and the Recorded Music NZ Best Country Music Album.

The deadline is March 13, and finalists will be announced in late April.

These awards are presented as part of the NZ Gold Guitar Awards in Gore, which have been running for more than 40 years.

Past winners include Delaney Davidson, Marlon Williams, Tami Neilson, Matt Langley, Jess Chambers, Jools Topp and Barry Saunders.
